Questions

Straight answers, including the unflattering ones.

If a question isn't answered here, call and ask. We'd rather tell you we can't do something than find out three weeks into a build.

What it is
What exactly do you install?

A managed system that sits between an inquiry arriving and the job getting collected. It answers new calls and web enquiries, triages urgency, qualifies the caller, and books appointments against your real technician capacity — including outside business hours.

Higher packages add follow-up on unsold estimates, reactivation of your dormant customer list, membership and seasonal campaigns, and financing follow-up.

It's configured to your services, service area, hours, pricing rules and escalation contacts. It isn't a generic bot pointed at your phone number.

Is this an AI receptionist?

No. An AI receptionist is software you buy and configure. This is a system we build, operate and measure on your behalf.

The practical difference: we set up your capacity rules and emergency matrix, test it with you before it goes live, watch it daily for the first five business days, and report on what it recovered. If something's wrong, you call us, not a support queue.

If a $50-a-month receptionist tool solves your problem, buy that. Our scorecard will tell you plainly if that's the case.

Will it sound like a robot?

It's a natural-sounding AI voice, and it identifies itself as an assistant. It doesn't pretend to be a person.

Most callers with a broken air conditioner want a fast answer and an appointment. They care more about being helped at 9pm than about who's speaking.

You'll see every conversation — full transcripts by default, and recordings if you choose to turn them on with the required disclosure in place — so you'll know within a week whether your customers are reacting the way you expected.

What happens when it can't answer something?

It escalates. Depending on how you configure it, that means routing to your team, taking a message, or booking a callback. It doesn't guess and it doesn't improvise pricing.

Do you replace my field service software?

No. Your field service platform stays the system of record for customers, jobs, dispatch and invoicing. We handle the layer in front of it — response, qualification and booking — and we don't overwrite your operational truth.

Whether we integrate with your specific platform depends on the platform. Ask us directly and we'll tell you whether it's supported or whether it needs paid discovery first. We won't claim an integration works before we've tested it.

Do you sell leads?

No. We don't buy, sell, resell or broker leads, and we don't send outreach to purchased or rented lists under any circumstances.

Our product recovers the demand you're already generating. Advertising and search are available as a second layer once the recovery system is running, but never on their own — without the system underneath, there's nothing to measure the spend against.

Fit
Who is this actually for?

Residential HVAC contractors, roughly $1M–$5M in annual revenue, around 5–20 technicians, receiving at least 75 qualified inbound opportunities a month, with after-hours demand and capacity to take on more work.

You'll also need to be willing to share baseline and outcome data, and to name a human emergency escalation contact.

Who is it not for?

We'll tell you if any of these apply, and the scorecard checks most of them automatically:

  • Under $500,000 in annual revenue
  • Fewer than 30 qualified inbound opportunities a month
  • No available technician capacity, or already booked out too far
  • No way to track booked and completed jobs
  • Unwilling to provide baseline data
  • Wants an unlimited answering service at a starter price
  • Wants guaranteed sales
  • Wants outreach to purchased or unverified lists

If you're in one of these categories, the scorecard gives you a corrective checklist instead of a pitch. Come back when it's fixed.

Do you work with plumbing, electrical or roofing?

Not yet. HVAC is the only system currently live. Plumbing is next, then electrical and roofing.

You can still take the scorecard — we'll score it, hold your result, and contact you when your trade activates. We won't promise a date.

What if I'm already booked out?

Then this is the wrong time. Booking more work into a schedule that can't absorb it makes the customer experience worse, not better.

The scorecard flags this and will tell you so. Capacity first, then volume.

Pricing & terms
How much does it cost?

Four packages, published in full on our pricing section: $980, $1,699, $4,699 and from $9,200 per month, with one-time implementation of $1,200, $2,000 and $5,000 respectively. Implementation on Multi-Location Demand + Revenue OS is scoped to the operation rather than fixed.

Which one fits depends on your scorecard result, not on a sales conversation. We publish prices so you can rule us out without a call.

What happens if I exceed my included minutes?

Each package includes a monthly allowance of AI voice minutes and text segments: 200 minutes and 750 segments on Starter Response Foundation, 600 minutes and 2,500 segments on Revenue Recovery Engine, and 1,500 minutes and 6,000 segments on Demand + Revenue OS. Allowances on Multi-Location Demand + Revenue OS are scoped to the operation.

Past the allowance, usage is metered: $0.60 a minute and $0.04 a segment on Starter Response Foundation, $0.50 a minute and $0.035 a segment on Revenue Recovery Engine, and $0.40 a minute and $0.03 a segment on Demand + Revenue OS. Overage on Multi-Location Demand + Revenue OS is set at scoping.

We don't switch the system off when you reach the allowance. It keeps running, the overage meters, and it appears on your next invoice. You can see usage against your allowance in your reporting, so a month that runs long is visible before the invoice is, not after.

Sustained overage is one of the three numbers that triggers a package review: if your usage runs over 2× your allowance for two consecutive months, we recommend the next package up and show you the figures behind it. It stays a recommendation — nothing changes without your written approval.

Allowances and overage rates are published on our pricing section. If your usage consistently runs past the allowance we'll flag it and show you the arithmetic on both options, rather than let it run quietly.
Why is there an implementation fee?

It covers the build: carrier registration for business texting, configuring your services, service area, hours, pricing rules, capacity rules and emergency matrix, constructing the workflows, and testing the whole thing with you before launch.

That work happens once, in the first two weeks, and it's the most labour-intensive part of the engagement.

Is there a contract?

Yes — an initial term, then month-to-month with 30 days' written notice.

The initial term is 90 days on Revenue Recovery Engine and Demand + Revenue OS, and six months on Starter Response Foundation and Multi-Location Demand + Revenue OS. The reason is delivery cost: the build is front-loaded, and a one-month engagement doesn't give the system enough time to produce data either of us can trust.

Do you guarantee results?

No. Nobody honestly can. We control response speed, follow-up and booking. We don't control your close rate, your pricing, your technicians or your market.

We don't guarantee revenue, appointments, close rates or return on investment, and you'll find that stated in our Terms and on our pricing page.

What we do instead: you approve everything in writing before it goes live, and we're in your account daily for the first five business days after launch.

Who pays for advertising?

You do, directly to Google or Meta. Media spend never routes through us.

You own the ad accounts and keep the history. If you leave, the accounts and everything in them stay yours.

Can I just buy the ads or SEO?

No. Those attach to an active recovery system.

It isn't an upsell tactic. Sending more leads into a business that can't answer them loses the same lead twice — once as an enquiry and again as ad spend. And without the system underneath, there's no measurement to judge the spend against.

What's the founding-client arrangement?

We're taking three HVAC design partners at full monthly price and 50% of standard implementation.

In exchange: you supply 60–90 days of baseline data and ongoing completed-job and collected-revenue outcomes, and you approve a written case study afterwards. Any public review is requested separately and is never compensated.

We don't waive implementation entirely, and we don't discount in exchange for a review. Both are things we've decided not to do.
Getting live
How long does it take?

Target configuration and voice readiness is generally 10–15 business days after complete intake and access.

Text messaging launch depends on carrier registration, which is outside our control and may take longer. We don't guarantee a launch date before the dependencies are verified — a date we can't hold is worse than no date.

How much of my time does it take?

Commonly two to four hours in total, across intake, testing, approvals and training.

Most of that is one intake session where we capture your services, area, hours, pricing rules and escalation contacts, and one review session where you test the conversations and approve the scripts.

What happens before it goes live?

You test it and you approve it in writing. Nothing launches without your sign-off.

Then voice goes first, text messaging follows once registration clears, and we review daily for the first five business days before moving to a scheduled optimisation cadence.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. Your existing number stays yours. Ask us about the specific mechanism for your setup — we'll explain exactly how calls route before anything changes.

Safety & compliance
What happens if someone calls about a gas leak?

The system is designed not to diagnose an emergency, and it is built and tested not to tell a caller a condition is safe.

When a caller reports fire, smoke, a suspected gas leak, a carbon-monoxide alarm, electrical arcing, or any immediate threat to life, it is configured to:

  • Instruct the caller to move to safety
  • Direct them to 911, the fire department, or the applicable utility emergency line
  • Notify your approved emergency contact
  • Stop ordinary qualification until safety is addressed

We test these paths with you before launch and we monitor them afterwards. No automated system should be treated as a substitute for calling 911.

Every client approves their own emergency matrix in writing before launch. This is the one part of the build we won't let anyone skip.
Can I get in trouble for texting my customers?

Texting customers is lawful when it's done with proper consent, and that's the only way we'll run a campaign. Compliance reduces your risk; nothing eliminates it, and we're not your attorney.

Every account gets carrier registration before anything sends, express written consent at every capture point, enforced quiet hours in the recipient's local time, automatic STOP and HELP handling, and do-not-call scrubbing before any reactivation campaign.

For legal advice specific to your business, talk to your own attorney.

Are calls recorded?

Not by default. Recording is off unless you specifically ask for it and the required disclosure is in place.

Florida is a two-party consent state and other states differ, so this is a decision we make deliberately with you rather than switching on by default.

Will you text my old customer list?

Only where there's documented consent, after a do-not-call scrub, inside quiet hours.

If your list doesn't meet that bar, we'll tell you and we won't send. The exposure lands on your business as well as ours, and neither of us wants it.

Your data
Who owns my customer data?

You do. Contacts, consent records, conversations, your configuration and your performance metrics are all yours. We're custodian, not owner.

What stays ours is the system itself — the automation architecture, scoring logic and templates. You get your data and your settings, not the machine that ran on them.

Would you ever sell my data?

No. Not to anyone, not to a competitor of yours, not after you leave, not under any circumstance.

We also won't use one client's data to market to or on behalf of another.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You get a full export at no charge: contacts with all fields, consent records with timestamps, conversation history, appointment history, performance metrics, and a readable copy of your configuration. Standard machine-readable format, no proprietary container.

Then we delete it within the retention window set out in your agreement and confirm the deletion in writing.

We won't withhold your data for any reason, including a billing dispute.
About us
Do you have case studies?

No, and we're not going to invent any. We're early, and we're taking three founding clients at reduced implementation specifically to build documented results.

What we can show you is the system running on our own business. The scorecard you filled out, the response you got, the booking flow — that's our product, working, on us. Judge it before you buy it.

Who will I actually be dealing with?

Julio Velez. I built the scoring behind the scorecard and I run the installs. If we talk, you're talking to me — not a rep, not an offshore team.

What don't you do?

Worth knowing before you ask:

  • Websites, landing pages, logos or branding
  • Custom software or app development
  • Advertising or SEO sold on their own
  • Running ad spend on our card
  • Replacing your field service platform
  • Buying, selling or brokering leads
  • Healthcare, dental, legal, financial advisory or insurance clients
  • Any outreach to purchased, rented or scraped lists

If you need one of these, we'll say so rather than stretching to fit.

What if the scorecard says I'm not ready?

Then you get a corrective checklist and no sales follow-up.

We'd rather lose the sale than install a system into a business that can't use it. When the items on your checklist are true, take the scorecard again and we'll pick it up from there.

Still have a question?

Call and ask, or take the scorecard and see where you land. Either way you'll get a straight answer.
